Selena Gomez is an internationally known actress and singer. Her involvement has included numerous projects, however her involvement in the Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place has been the most successful. Her full name is Selena Marie Gomez. Born on July 22, 1992, in Grand Prairie Texas. The parents of Selena were Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Selena's mother was just 16 at the time Selena was born. The year 2009 was when she landed her first role in show business as Gianna as Barney and her Friends. In this way, she joined the ranks of children who have enjoyed the chance to get involved with the anthromorphic dinosaur, which is now well-known in the world of science fiction. Selena was a part of several episodes of season 7 and 8 between 2001 and 2003. Interesting fact: Demi Lovato, who was part of Barney's Friends in the same time period as well, worked alongside Selena. Selena Gomez left the show and auditioned for other shows and films however, she did not achieve much results. There was a small role as a character in Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3D Game Over) in 2003 and one more in 2004 as Julie on Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire. She was also cast as Emily Grace Garcia, a character she created as a musical in 2006's Brain Zapped.
